We are looking for a Senior SDK engineer (specialized in Android) to join our Monetization and Paywalls team to help design, build, ship, and support end-to-end features and products that will help developers make more money by providing tools needed to maximize monetization. The biggest feature being native paywalls.
Life360 is redesigning its mobile application to make it faster, more intuitive, and emotionally engaging for families worldwide, and as a Senior Android Engineer on the Experiences Mobile team, you will play a key role in executing this vision. You will contribute to the development of high-impact surfaces across the Life360 app, including our app navigation, home screen experience, and personalized content surfaces to create valuable engagement loops for our customers.
The role requires 5+ years of experience in Android development and 3+ years of experience developing with Kotlin for Android and Jetpack Compose. Experience developing for iOS is a plus. This role is remote, and open to residents within the United States.
As an Android Software Engineer for Cashalo, you’ll help build and shape the Android mobile app that powers the Cashalo customer experience for millions across Southeast Asia. You’ll act as a true Product Engineer, taking ownership of features from idea to production. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Data teams to deeply understand our customers and translate insights into solutions.
Build high-performance mobile applications with modern architecture and seamless user experiences, using deep expertise in Kotlin, Android SDK, and modern development patterns. Pragmatically self-manage and collaborate during US Pacific Time (PT) hours, building native Android applications, implementing MVVM architecture and UIs with Jetpack Compose and Material Design. Integrate REST APIs, optimize app performance, and handle push notifications, background services, and offline functionality.
